In spite of frosts work volume is daily increasing at key and auxiliary facilities of Baltic NPP construction site (Neman District, Kaliningrad Region). Number of personnel has to be increased in coming months to keep up with the schedule. The prime contractor, NIAEP, invites those who wish to get employment at this Kaliningrad Region’s history huge construction enterprise to the Community Liaison Office at the address: 8 Smolenskaya St., Sovetsk.
“We open such functional entities, which attract technical staff in a consolidated manner and build up a common workforce database, in regions where we build NPPs,” Nikolay Sheshokin, NIAEP Deputy Director for HR Management, explained on how the community liaison offices worked. “Using them, HR officers of our contractors conduct screening interviews and hire required staff. Starting from the second quarter we plan for massive recruitment to the contractor-companies and we wait for those who would like to work at construction of Baltic NPP in the Community Liaison Office in Sovetsk,” he said.
Since opening on September 22, 2011, the NIAEP Community Liaison Office has received 1,369 persons: 730 workers and 639 engineers and clerks.
